Through its first congressional charter, the American Red Cross serves
as a medium between the people of the United States of America and
their Armed Forces. It supports and supplements those activities of
the military that affect the health, welfare, and morale of service
members and their families. This includes assistance in the area of
personal and family problems to all military families, Department
of Defense employees and veterans.
Armed Forces Emergency Services include:
- Emergency communication.
- Information and referral.
- Loans and grant assistance.
American Red Cross of Tompkins County services are free
and available to everyone in need.
