Blood Services Volunteer Opportunities

Blood Donor: If you are in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are at least 17 years old, you can donate a unit of blood as often as every eight weeks, and save the lives of up to three people. Click HERE for a blood drive schedule. Donate TODAY!

Registration Coordinator: Greet donors as they arrive at the blood drive and guide them through the registration process.

Canteen Coordinator: Provide donors at local blood drives with refreshments and maintain order in the refreshment area. In addition, observe donors closely for signs of post-donation reaction or bleeding. Respond to the signs and symptoms of reaction by initiating care of donors and alerting collections staff.

Labeling Assistant: Perform initial inspection and labeling of blood collection containers with regional ID labels and whole blood numbers, following designated procedures. Requires training.
