Orientation to International Red Cross: A foundation course that deals with Red Cross history, identity as part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and the reasons for our international involvement. Presents an overview of International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Tracing & Other International Social Services (ISS), and International Relief & Development (IR&D).

International Humanitarian Law: This course will provide volunteers with the means to increase public awareness of the principles of IHL and the role of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement during armed conflict. Also covers the legal protections for people effected by war and discusses the work of the Red Cross on behalf of victims of war.

International Relief & Development: Course covers the role of the American Red Cross in international relief, development and information, and resources available to respond to community requests. Also covers international delegates, in-kind donations, and how to facilitate and establish community based international programs and activities.
