Since 1983, the American Red Cross of Tompkins County Homeless Services have assisted thousands of people each year who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless to regain their independence by obtaining safe, affordable housing and the financial means to keep it secure. Homeless Services is the American Red Cross of Tompkins County’s largest program and includes the emergency shelter, the Friendship Center, case management services, and the food pantry.
