For nearly a century, the Tompkins County American Red Cross has prepared people to save lives through education and hands-on training. From First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training to swim, lifeguard and babysitter training, our preparedness programs help people lead safer and healthier lives. In FY'09, an astounding 6852 students enrolled in American Red Cross health and safety courses in Tompkins County.
The Red Cross strives to respond to the preparedness concerns of Americans at home, in school, in the workplace and at play. We, at the Tompkins County Red Cross, are meeting the health and safety preparedness needs of our community through a focused and ambitious training program.
