First Aid / CPR / AED Course Information



CPR- Adult: Recognize and care for breathing, cardiac and choking emergencies in individuals over twelve years of age.

CPR/AED- Adult: Same as Adult CPR with the addition of training in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator

CPR- Child & Infant: Recognize and care for breathing, cardiac and choking emergencies in individuals under the age of twelve.

CPR- Adult, Child, & Infant: Recognize and care for breathing, cardiac, and choking emergencies in adults, children and infants.

Standard First Aid: Minimize the effects of shock. Treat sudden illnesses including poisoning, heat and cold emergencies. Perform first aid for cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, bleeding, and injuries to bones, joints, and muscles, such as sprains and strains.

First Aid/CPR/AED Challenge: Offers the opportunity to update certification without retaking the course. Intended as an opportunity to demonstrate skills and be evaluated. It is NOT an instructor-led practice or coaching session. All responsibility for preparedness rests with you!

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: Recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies. Perform two-rescuer CPR and techniques for special rescue situations such as drowning. Use resuscitation masks and bag-valve-masks for ventilating victims. Includes training in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator.

Responding to Emergencies: Advanced training in identifying and caring for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness, injuries, healthy lifestyles and injury prevention. Must be taken in conjunction with a CPR course.

Epinephrine Auto-Injector Module: Recognize and provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency until advanced emergency medical personnel arrive. Includes the demonstration of an epinephrine auto-injection device.
