AMERICAN RED CROSS ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR ANNUAL AWARDS
The American Red Cross Tompkins County Chapter is seeking nominations for the David Malcom and Joe Nesby Awards to be presented at the Annual Business Meeting in September.

The David Malcom Award was established as a way of honoring the memory of David Malcom who was tragically murdered while on duty at the Red Cross homeless shelter in 1987 at the age of 26. Nominees should be a person, group or agency (volunteer or paid) in Tompkins County who has made a significant difference in the life of a homeless or disadvantaged person or family.

Joe Nesby was a longtime volunteer with the Tompkins County Chapter in Emergency Services. Nominees for the Joe Nesby Award should be a person, group or agency (volunteer or paid) in Tompkins County who has provided exceptional service to someone in a time of crises.
