Newly founded in 2002, both Cornell University and Ithaca College have active extensions of the American Red Cross of Tompkins County.
In addition to fundraising for the chapter, the clubs take an active role in annual events such as the Red Shoe Dance-a-Thon and Safe Families Day, and continually participate in Disaster and Health and Safety training.
