THANK YOU TO ALL THE 2004 RED SHOE SUPPORTERS!!
It takes a number of generous individuals and businesses to keep 400 Cornell students on their feet, awake and dancing for 24 hours, enticing them to stay the duration of the event, keeping them fed, feeling well and happy.
We would like to thank the vendors who donated bountiful amounts of food to feed our small army: A-1 Family Restaurant, Cornell Dining, GreenStar Cooperative Market, Blimpie Subs, and Cornell Dining, as well as area pizzerias including: Papa John's, Domino's, Angelina Centini's, Pudgie's, Big Al's, The Nine's, Roma, Pizza Aroma, and Godfather's Pizza.
We would also like to thank the numerous shops, restaurants and business that donated gifts and prizes to reward our 24-hour marathoners for their dancing. First and foremost, Elephant Sound for their generous donation of 24-hours worth of music, entertainment and dj service, and McNeil Music for our additional sound system. We would like to also recognize our grand-prize donors: CNY Tubs, Maxies Supper Club and Oyster Bar, Courtside Racquet and Fitness, Swarthout Coaches, Taughannock Farms Inn and the Holiday Inn.
Finally, we would like to recognize the students of the Panhellenic Council, the IFC, and the Red Cross Club at Cornell University for their donation of time and money. These are a great group of students who gave up a regular college weekend to stay awake for 24 hours to raise funds for the vital programs and services Red Cross provides Tompkins County.
And to everyone unmentioned, we are grateful for your generosity, caring, and support of local Red Cross services. Your efforts helped make this year's Red Shoe a tremendous and successful event. Thank you all for your enthusiasm, dedication and hard work!
