VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

American Red Cross Club: If you are a Cornell University or Ithaca College student, you can help carry out the Red Cross mission by being a member of our campus branch.

Class/School Projects: Use your creativity and apply your classroom knowledge to further the mission of the American Red Cross, through activities such as food and toy drives, fundraising, international school chest program and special events.

Internships & Work Study: Opportunities are available for academic credit in each Red Cross line of service. These include, emergency, health and safety, homeless, and blood as well as administration and leadership opportunities.

Public Relations/Marketing Opportunities: Assist with the promotion and awareness of the mission and vision of the American Red Cross of Tompkins County services, programs and special events.

Special Events: Youth involvement is encouraged in the following activities: Homeless Holiday Party, Safe Families Day event, World Red Cross Day, Parades, Ithaca Festival and Information Fairs, as Red Cross Representatives.

Service Opportunities: Youth can be involved in every line of service, however some age restrictions may need to be imposed.
